Capstone - Refurbishment Case Study

Location: Easton Street, High Wycombe.

The Brief: Ongoing maintenance and development of the site on an as and when required basis. Services include: space planning and maintenance of the office plans using Autocad 2010, refurbishment, maintenance, supply and fit of new desking seating and filing, the storage and management of existing furniture as requirements change, re-configurations and move management. The offices are located in an old Grammar School with interesting design features where we have just started the build of 5 new Director's office in the architecturally sensitive former school Chapel.
Timescale: Since 2005

Timetable: Capstone is a fast moving business and relies on Capex for a prompt response for planned and emergency work. Works are always out of hours and Capstone take advantage of our fitters in-depth knowledge of the site, its geography and its systems.
Result: A recent example of our works at Capstone included the removal and re-location of two massive fire safes as part of a major re-configuration and densification process. The safe moves had to be completed out of normal office hours and whilst the access road needed to be closed off for Health and Safety Capex had to ensure that people wishing to get to the local Registry Office could do so in a safe and timely manner in order to get married! The safe move and re-configuration all proceeded as planned and the client was delighted with the result after returning to work on the Monday to a fully functional but re-stacked office.
