To tackle this project we turned to San Francisco based designer Yves Behar.

Yves, a regular collaborator with Herman Miller, is known for tackling big challenges and pushing the boundaries of technology and design in a cost-efficient way. He calls this approach attainability and human-centred design.

Yves asked himself: Can the same principle used to suspend bridges over oceans and rivers apply to a chair?

And SAYL was born!
